Loyola partners to help area businesses affected by the oil spill
Loyola University New Orleans Small Business Development Center director Carmen Sunda recently testified at a Senate hearing in Washington, D.C., on the BP-Deepwater Horizon oil spill's immeasurable impact on small businesses.
Professor receives Fulbright Fellowship to India
For the 2010-11 academic year, Loyola University New Orleans associate professor of theatre arts Artemis Preeshl, M.F.A., will research visual literacy in performance and film in India as a Fulbright-Nehru senior researcher through the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Loyola students, staff nominated for Press Club awards
Loyola University New Orleans students and staff received nine Press Club award nominations for their outstanding work in journalism, photography and public relations.
Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp begins next week
The 16th annual Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp will take place at Loyola University New Orleans July 6 - 23. World-renowned trombonist, Wycliffe Gordon, and "Queen of Swing," Norma Miller are headlining the camp and will teach and interact with students.
